The 2014 Spring Nail Polish Awards: The Best Pastel, Nail Art, Top Coat & More
April 16, 2014
You think you’re taking a casual stroll through your go-to beauty store, until you reach the nail polish aisle and are suddenly overwhelmed. With so many different brands, colors, finishes and top coats out there, how is a girl to possible choose the perfect pink or the best red out of thousands?! If you’re like me, you probably just want them all so you don’t have to pick just one, but that option is not always in the budget. And unless you’re in a store that has testers and nail polish remover like Sephora, you might not be able to try the colors before you buy them. (Cue panic mode.) Oh no! Now, you really can’t decide, and you have found yourself in what I like to call a “nail polish crisis,” which is diagnosed by confusion, annoyance, and thoughts like “I wish there was something like the Academy Awards, but for nail polish so I wouldn’t have to choose.” Well, now there is.
Since we are sick of watching you stand in the aisle and suffer while you are trying to choose the best out of 34,928,420 neutrals, we went on a mission to find and award the best polishes of the season. (Kind of like high school yearbook superlatives, but better and more useful) Because, don’t lie, we know you’re sick of using your dark winter shades and are ready to get some fun nail colors back in your life. To see which polishes, top coats, and finishes won our awards this season and save you time in the beauty store, check out our slideshow!
