The New ALDO RISE x Preen Collaboration Was Inspired By A 1970s Movie
October 23, 2013
Because we loved the first collections so much, we were super excited to hear that ALDO RISE was collaborating with Preen again to launch a 4th collection. The shoes first appeared during London Fashion Week as part of Preen’s A/W 2013 show, and now you can finally get your very own! We’re not too sure where this came from, but the line was inspired by a cult film from the 70s, so there are definitely going to be a lot of punk accents.
The collection has three different styles: an ankle-strap pump, a triple-buckle front-zip shootie, and an ankle boot. Each shoe comes in a bunch of different colors, like red, blue, and black. And don’t expect the reds and blues to be muted. They definitely scream “Look at me!” Prices range from $160 to $230, so they’re really reasonable for a designer collab. I know we’ve done such a good job at talking them up, so you’re gonna want to click through the slideshow below to check them out.
