I have no doubt that my parents and boyfriend love me very much and know me very well, but every year like clockwork they all ask, “What do you want for Christmas?” Now I know the polite answer is something like, “Oh anything you get me is fine. It’s the thought that counts.” But why make them waste their money on something I probably won’t like? We are all family here–let’s keep it real!

Enter the shareable wish list, aka the most blessed invention since the Internet itself. If you’re anything like me, you spend hours browsing and bookmarking items you love online. Why not make those items available to people looking to buy you a gift? Tons of stores have wish list features and bunch of them make it super easy to give your loved ones access. Tacky? I don’t really because at least I’ll get gifts I actually want.

Click through the slideshow to find out the retailers who make it easiest to share your wish lists.
