10 Summer Trends You Can Keep In Your Closet For Fall, According To Bloggers

Rolled-cuff jeans Chances are you won't see this on the runway, but it has been a major trend. For example: during this summer you probably rolled your jeans once or twice to give your legs and feet some air. Maybe you were on the beach and rolled them up so they wouldn't get dirty, who knows. But this is one of the easier trends to take into fall. In the summer you can pair your rolled jeans with flip flops or sandals, but in the fall they can go with booties, sneakers and heels.  Low Rise Relaxed Skinny ($78)

Sneakers The best trend, in our opinion. Sneakers are super comfortable, making that commute to work just a little bit easier. We saw this trend in the summer, including the even easier slip-on sneakers (no shoe tying!) Sneaks will still be here come fall. Wear them with a dress or jeans: anything goes. Cotu Sneaker ($64.95)

Printed pants Prints, prints and more prints. Ditch your monotone pants and get some crazy bottoms! We know that printed bottoms were all anyone could wear this summer, whether it be in jean, pant or jumpsuit-form. (Hey, they're technically pants!) This trend isn't going anywhere, guys. They're fun to wear on the beach or at a small get-together, but switch it up for a fall outfit by pairing them with a solid top and heels. Bam: summer to fall right there. Brody Python Print Pants ($76.70, down from $118)

Red Red is a color that will never go out of style. During the summer, you'll probably wear it on July 4th and on your skin as a sunburn (oops!) Every so often you'll have a pop of red incorporated in your outfit, but this fall red IS the color you want in your closet. It's coming, and it's coming in hot. [Photo: Walk In Wonderland]

Scarlatto Sheath ($298)

Midi skirts Midi skirts are just like normal skirts, but end around your mid-calf area. So basically these are the skirts that will hide your unshaven legs. Totally kidding...kinda. We saw a mass amount of illusion midi skirts this summer. You know the ones: the fabric ends but the lace keeps going? This fall, midi skirts are still in minus the illusion aspect. Instead, they will be full, swingy skirts that end around mid-calf. Work approved for sure. [Photo: Cupcakes and Cashmere]

Petaluma Skirt ($148)

Matching top and bottom Some hate it, some love it. So for you haters, sorry. The match-matchy look will still be around in a few months. It's a super easy outfit, especially when you're in a rush to get ready.  In the summer most people have a matching crop top with either a matching skirt or shorts. In the fall, the skirts will be longer and pants will even be thrown into the mix. We're telling you: getting ready in the morning couldn't be easier! [Photo: Stripes & Sequins]

Short Sleeve Gingham Top ($40.60, down from $58) Gingham Skirt ($46.20, down from $66)

Oxford shoes Oh thank you, fashion gods, for giving our feet a break! Along with sneakers, oxfords are another shoe to wear this summer and coming fall. Oxfords are a classy and stylish way to save your feet from the dreaded stiletto heel, and a great shoe to wear to work since they're not too formal. In the summer, wear them with structured shorts or a skirt. In the fall, they're perfect with jeans or tailored pants. [Photo: Walk In Wonderland]

Derby Oxfords ($99.95)

Statement bags with writing This summer we saw a lot of tote bags with cute sayings thanks to Kate Spade. Well, bags with writing are coming back hard this fall with things like magazines, newspapers, cartoon characters and more printed on them. These are the perfect bags to add to a simple outfit. Papà Razzi Brit Magazine Clutch ($47.49, down from $95)

Leather jacket This should be a no-brainer by now. Even though leather is assumed to be a heavy fabric that will get you sweating, that's not really true. Brands make leather lighter in the summer by adding in light material between the leather and your skin. Since they are/will still be in, might as well invest in one now since you'll need it for, like, ever. [Photo: Miss Tangerine]

Rumpled Leather Moto Jacket ($218.90, down from $328)

Leopard print Leopard print is here to stay. Summer calls for minimal leopard print with items like clutches or shoes. Fall fashion is calling for dresses, jackets and pants to be printed by this animal's fur. Embrace your inner cougar, ladies. [Photo: Always Judging]
