As far as fashion goes, 2013 was a comeback year. Midriffs were showing, lug sole shoes a la Doc Martin were everywhere, every fashion blogger out there picked up a pair of overalls and tulle skirts much like those you used to wear in ballet recitals became a trend you could simply wear to the ballet.

Yet, despite all the creativity 2013 fashion offered all of us, giving us the power to mix and match, men hated nearly all of it. Seriously, we took a poll of SHEfinds staffers’ boyfriends, husbands, guy friends and strangers on the streets to find out what trends men hate (and more importantly – why) to get some insight. And as it turns out, while 2013 had all of us going gaga over all the options, men thought we lost our minds.

These are the 13 trends they hated the most. Be prepared, it isn’t pretty.
