Every year, tons of post-grads with big dreams flock to New York City to start their new adult lives. But, many of them are not fully aware of the tests that this city will put them through. Dreams will only get you so far. You have to have some thick skin to survive around here, and most importantly, you can’t sweat the small stuff.
When you move here, you know you’re going to be low on cash, but you don’t really know what its like until you acutally move here. There are sooo many other things you have to deal with. You’re going to have to swallow your pride, settle on a living situation that is less than ideal, and struggle to make ends meet. But at the end of the day, it will be totally worth it.
You’ll be a post-grad chasing your dreams and living on $1 pizza in New York City. They said college was the best time of your life, but just wait…this will be even better. And hey! You had enough courage and determination to make it here, and that’s pretty darn impressive.
