If you don’t consider yourself to be a morning person, waking up can be tough especially when you’re all comfy and cozy in bed. Who would want to leave that paradise? Waking up is one thing, but actually feeling refreshed is an entirely different story. If you’re not a coffee drinker, it’s hard to kickstart your morning without that jolt of caffeine most people need/crave. Here are two ways to start off your morning on the right foot.
Warm lemon water with honey. This drink has so many benefits and it’s super easy to make. Plus, it doesn’t contain any artificial ingredients. Warm lemon water will aid digestion and give you a boost of energy. In addition, it helps clear your skin, improves your immune system and freshens your breath. The added touch of honey will add sweetness and its own benefits, which are very similar to lemon.
Apple cider vinegar. My best friend takes a shot of ACV every single morning and swears by it. If that’s too hardcore for you, then try mixing one or two tablespoons of organic ACV with eight ounces of water. You can sweeten it up with organic honey or maple syrup. ACV in the morning will boost your energy, balance your pH levels, aid digestion and more.
These two drinks are a great and natural way to regain your energy after waking up. If you drink either one of these each morning, the health benefits will only increase over time.
