The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

When the temps don’t immediately drop in September, it’s a blessing at first. Summer just ended and you’re not mentally prepared for putting on pants, a sweater AND a jacket. But when it’s still 70+ degrees in October, it starts to not be cute anymore. Getting dressed in the morning becomes a nightmare–should you wear tights or no tights (it’s warm enough to go bare-legged, but is it appropriate to this late in fall?). Footwear is a nightmare–it’s warm enough for flip flops but seasonally, you should really be wearing tall boots. You choose an outfit then second-guess yourself. What will everyone else in your office be wearing? Etc.

Dressing for hot fall days can be really tricky–so we found one look that is full-proof, or at least according to 3 top style bloggers. What did The Brunette OneGal Meets Glam and Stripes and Sequins all have in common when we checked their sites for outfit inspiration last week? They all wore tall brown boots with a dress and no tights during warm fall days. In fact, Stripes and Sequins and Gal Meets Glam even wore the exact same Michael Kors boots. So, there you have it–the best thing to wear when it’s hot in late October:

tall brown boots with a dress

Shop The Brunette One‘s look: Love, Blackbird Boutique navy shirtdress ($28), Chrissy’s knee high socks ($8.49), Aldo boots.
