The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

It’s officially summer and the days are getting hotter, which means the struggle not to perspire is real. Does anyone else feel like it’s a daily task to not sweat your brains out on your morning commute? If you answered yes, then here are 4 ways to prevent those embarrassing sweat marks:

Layering

Layering your clothes might not seem like the smartest idea when it’s 100 degrees out, but if you know how to do it right then your clothes will be sweat free! Wear a sports tank under your t-shirt or dress in order to absorb the sweat from your clothes. Try to go for a solid neutral color so that you can’t see it through your clothes. Not only do these shirts absorb your sweat, they dry quickly! Their breathable material also helps keep bacteria away that cause that bad stank.

Fabrics and Colors

As the days get warmer, start thinking about changing the colors and fabrics you wear out and about. Try switching it up with natural-fiber clothing like cotton, silk and linen and wearing light colors. These fabrics will allow your skin to breath much easier than polyester or other blended fabrics. Another option is wearing slightly looser clothing so there is more air circulation and sweat evaporation. Thank god for t-shirt dresses!

Fabric Softener Sheets

In order to keep your clothes smelling like they just came out of the laundry, you should throw a couple of fabric softener sheets into your drawers. Once the sheets lose their potency, change them! Don’t place them directly on to your clothes as they might leave a stain.

Food Choices

You might have to stop making that quick Starbucks run before work! Caffeine makes you sweat more (NOOOO!). This especially applies to those of you who can get a little anxious from time to time, as caffeine tends to increase your heart rate, which can lead to sweating. You should also avoid garlic and onions because they make your sweat smell.
