The beauty of fall weddings is that there are so many options to choose from. If you’re a laid back bride with a penchant for rustic details, there is no better time of year to build a day around an outdoor wedding, complete with hay bales, and a barnyard reception. If you’re a fancy gal you can dress your bridal party in rich colors and textures such as red, orange and gold.

The season is abundant with details from nature that can — and should! — be brought into a wedding. Pumpkins, apples, bright leaves and fall flowers such as sunflowers offer pops of colors anywhere you put them. Serve candied apples and hot chocolate to guests, with a side of nostalgia.
