3 New Children's Books to Read at Bedtime
September 14, 2010
Sure, Goodnight Moon is a bedtime classic, but when your little one is ready for a change, try one of these new fun-to-read out loud books that will send your child off to dreamland with a big smile.
If you have a curious child who wonders where the Moon hides during the day, she’ll love Moon Dreams by Ruth Martin ($11), which follows the nighttime adventures of a little girl named Luna.
Interrupting Chicken by David Ezra Stein ($12) is funny story about a little chicken who constantly interrupts his father’s bedtime stories. The tables turn when it’s the little chicken’s turn to read his father a bedtime story.
In A Bedtime for Bear by Bonny Becker ($11), two opposite and unlikely pals have a sleepover adventure that includes scary (and not so scary) sounds that keep them both up in the middle of the night.
