3 Reasons Why This Was The Best Weekend Ever For Beyoncé Fans

The Beyhive was pretty busy this weekend. Beyoncé slayed us not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES in the past 48 hours. Here’s how it all started.

1) Formation

Beyoncé pulled another Beyoncé and dropped her new single, “Formation” and an accompanying music video on Saturday night. Where were you when it happened? Surely you remember.

Hi, Blue Ivy!!

This is the singer’s first new song since 2014’s “7/11” and the wait was definitely worth it. The whole track is lyrical genius but some lines that really got the Internet going are, “Y’all haters corny with that Illuminati mess,” “I’m so reckless when I rock my Givenchy dress (stylin’),” “I’m so possessive so I rock his Roc necklaces,” “I got hot sauce in my bag, swag,” and, of course, “When he f*ck me good I take his ass to Red Lobster, cause I slay.”

Celebrities really are just like us and lost their minds over Bey.

Red Lobster also took to social media to respond to Bey’s shoutout.

Really, Red Lobster? After taking several hours to recognize the Queen, this is what you come up with??

2) Super Bowl

Last night was the Beyoncé concert featuring Coldplay, Bruno Mars and some football players. Kidding! It was the Super Bowl, but you likely only paid attention to the five minutes Queen Bey was on screen and spent the rest of the night dipping chips (I know that wasn’t just me!). ANYWAYS. During the halftime show, Coldplay performed a few songs, Bruno Mars followed up with “Uptown Funk” and then, like an angel from heaven, Beyoncé arrived on the field to perform…FORMATION. *Dead*

I feel bad for Coldplay because they were kind of unnecessary last night.

In a blink-and-you-missed-it moment, Beyoncé ***flawlessly**** saved herself from wiping out during her set:

Also, in case you were wondering, Bey wore OPI Black Onyx ($8.50, down from $10) on her nails last night. Yep, it’s somehow still in stock.

3) Formation Tour

When the Super Bowl went to commercial after the halftime show, Beyoncé announced A WORLD TOUR. She will kick off the 40-date Formation Tour on April 27th in Miami. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster on Tuesday, February 16th.

Can someone pick me up off the floor? I’ve been here since last night.
