Sometimes, doesn’t it feel like you’re whipping out a razor every day?! Shaving can be such a chore, and during the summer, it feels like we can’t go a day without keeping a smooth shave. We did some research and found tips to help your next shave last longer, and eliminate the annoying upkeep of maintaining smooth skin!
Exfoliate! Exfoliating skin helps bring the hair out of its follicle, which makes shaving that much easier and effective! You’ll get a closer shave and silkier skin if you exfoliate before shaving. Not to mention, exfoliating helps to get your hair on the same growing cycle.
Gotta go, oils. By washing your skin before shaving, you help eliminate oils that are sitting on your skin surface. By doing a pre-shave scrub, oils are eliminated, and you can get a closer, smoother shave.
Brush it off. Might sound weird, but try out using a badger brush – you know, those brushes they have at the barber shop that they usually use on your man’s face… Well, if you use this brush to apply and rub in shaving cream, it will help you get a closer shave and make your efforts last longer! Which, actually, makes a ton of sense now that we think about it.
