4 Bridal Looks To Steal From The CFDA Red Carpet (No, Lady Gaga's Is Not One Of Them)
June 7, 2011
Last night the fashion elite commenced for the CFDA Awards, where top honors for Womenswear Designer of the Year (Proenza Schouler), Accessories (Alexander Wang) and more, were doled out. The winners in our mind were the fashionistas, from Whitney Port to Kerry Washington, who wore white – thus setting the bar for fall 2012 bridal trends:
Whitney Port opted for a one-shoulder gown last night at the CFDA awards, which is the perfect on-trend bridal style. Try the look with this gorgeous JS Boutique Sequin One Shoulder Gown ($158).
Splashes of Black:
Model Liya Kebede rocked a white gown with a slit of black peaking out — a big bridal trend. Think black belts, sashes and other small accents that make for a very dramatic look. This Yu Elegant Belted Bridal Gown ($800) nails the trend.
Kerry Washington shut it down in an A-line Calvin Klein dress; get the look with this Rick Owens Strapless silk-organza bustier gown ($1,886.50, down from $2,695).
Akris Double-Face Gilet ($537, down from $895)
