Trying to wear neon in 2010 can be tricky without looking like we’re  are stuck in the era of spandex and legwarmers and Zack and Kelly dramas. This week, a glorious thing happened – Sarah Jessica Parker wore this neon yellow Valentino couture gown to the SATC 2 premiere, showing the rest of us how to wear jazzy colors in this decade.

Go with a simple, girly version in this Tissue Ruffle Tank in Neon Citron ($39.50). The neon is pale enough for the fashion-shy, but still hits the trend at a perfect price.

Although its not cheap, this Twenty8Twelve Poly CDC Under-Over Dress ($350) is a lot of other things – fun, girly and youthful. We love love love the zip neckline and cut of this dress.

We love the ruffled neckline and long length of this Splendid Ruffle Tank in Neon Yellow ($47). The color is SJP-approved, and the style is perfect for summer.

If you want to try the trend in smaller doses, go for this CC SKYE Day Glo Neon Cuff ($84). Bangles/cuffs are huge this season – and we’re guessing after SJP wore it, neon yellow will be high in demand, too.
