5 Date Ideas That Prove Fall Is The Best Season For Falling In Love
October 6, 2015
Autumn is by far one of the most romantic times of year. It brings crisp cool air, cozy sweaters and is simply another great excuse to cuddle up with your bae! Use this weather to your advantage. Take a break from the repetitious “table for two” routine and enjoy all the perks that fall can offer. Check out my Top 5 FUN date ideas to try this season.
1. Game Time
Football season is upon us! Whether you’re a football or not, a game can be a great date! You’re surrounded by playful banter, flirtatious rivalry and most importantly side-side interaction. It’s time to put your game face ladies!
2. Day Trip To A Vineyard
Apple cider isn’t the only popular beverage this season. The autumn months are actually harvest time for most vineyards. Checking out a local wine vineyard or festival is a great way to savor the season. Getting to know one another in between sips (or gulp in my case) is easy, and it’s fun to learn about local wines.
3. Tour A Haunted House
I know it may sound juvenile, but hear me out on this one. When we were kids, the anticipation of being spooked at every dark corner was such a thrill! It allowed you to clutch your best buddies arm for protection! Well, why can’t we rekindle the same experience as adults? The scares may not be as frightful, but I can tell you there’s nothing better than the feeling of your beau or crush holding you tight as you two explore the spooky hallways together. Give your relationship a little “scare” this fall season..and this time lets make a good one!
4. Visit Fall Festivals
Let’s not forget about Oktoberfest! This is a personal favorite of mine. Whether it’s a local fall festival or the infamous Oktoberfest, you don’t necessarily have to be a beer fan. These fall festivals provide an endless amount of activities. You and your bae will experience delicious food, live entertainment and some of the best fall brews around! Almost every city and town hosts some type of Fall Festival, so get started on your research and plan your next weekend outdoor adventure.
5. Go To A Drive-in Movie
Plan a date to a drive in movie! Drive-ins are the classic date we all wish there were more of. It’s the perfect time to kick back, wear your comfy sweatpants, recline your seat and enjoy a cozy night under the stars. I know what you’re thinking, “But Ash, there aren’t any drive ins nearby me? Easy solution! Substitute it with an outdoor movie in the park or a simple night of Netflix and delivery!
