FOMO (fear of missing out) is something we all experience, but it’s reached a new level thanks to social media. For example, you go on Instagram during your family reunion, when you should be talking to your third cousin twice removed, only to see your friends having fun without you, and suddenly, your world comes crashing down. It’s over. Nothing you do with them will ever be as fun as these few hours they spent together when you weren’t there. This jealousy mixed with obsessively checking your feeds is known as digital anxiety. Here are 5 ways to recognize when it’s happening to you:
