Boyfriend jeans have become a really popular trend over the years, and for good reason! They are typically baggy, distressed and look worn-in. The fit is beyond comfortable and the style is virtually timeless. Plus, they can be worn so many different ways. Since boyfriend jeans are so versatile, it can be tricky to figure out what to wear with them. They are also baggy, so you don’t want to look too casual or sloppy. Here are different ways to wear your boyfriend jeans that will have you looking stylish.

1. Tomboy

You’re already one step ahead of your tomboy look by wearing boyfriend jeans, so this one is pretty easy. Plus, this look is laid back and effortlessly cool. Pair your favorite graphic sweatshirt (or lettermen sweatshirt) with your boyfriend jeans. Roll the cuffs and finish off your look with a pair of cool sneakers like Converse or Vans.

2. Rip ‘em up!

As mentioned above, most boyfriend jeans come pre-distressed with rips, tears, frays, etc. If you’re feeling creative and artsy, buy a pair of boyfriend jeans that aren’t distressed at all and do it yourself! There’s no right or wrong way to distress denim. Grab a pair of scissors and some sandpaper to start distressing. Remember that it’s better to start off small and add more details as you go on. You can even add some bleach spots if you’re feeling really brave.

3. Leave them unrolled

Pretty much everyone rolls their boyfriend jeans because they are usually designed at a longer length. Dare to be different? Opt for a pair of straight leg boyfriend jeans and leave them unrolled. If you can’t find a pair that is cropped, take them to your local tailor and have the length shortened. For a more tailored look, pair your unrolled jeans with your favorite heels!

4. Effortlessly cool

A great outfit for running errands or grabbing lunch with friends is a put together, yet effortless look. Wear a pair of boyfriend jeans with a slouchy V-neck tee, a cool leather jacket and strappy sandals or your go-to sneakers.

5. Business casual

You want to wear jeans to the office but don’t know how? Try wearing your boyfriend jeans with a super sleek blazer over fitted tee or silk cami. Finish off your look with a pair of point-toe high heels. Add in a statement necklace and you’ll be good to go!

6. Keep it feminine

It’s really easy to go a casual and comfy route when wearing boyfriend jeans. Keep your look girly by wearing a patterned silk blouse and strappy sandals. This look is the definition of opposites attract!

The possibilities are seriously endless when it comes to styling boyfriend jeans. Have fun with it!
