Pretty.

Ditch the cookie-cutter “IT” bag this season. Instead of spending months saving up, why not try something a little bit more low-maintenance? We’ve got just the thing (and they’re on sale).

Wayuu Taya bags are hand-crafted, one of a kind pieces that come in tons of funky colors and add a really big punch to all of your fall outfits. No two bags are the same. Not only are they on sale today at Shopbop, but they also help a great cause. The Wayuu Taya Foundation bags is a nonprofit, started in 2002 by model Patricia Valasquez. Each bag is created by aritsons of the Gujira Peninsula of Colombia and Venezuela, where Valasquez is from. Proceeds from each sale go back to the community to help improve the quality of life in the area and preserve the culture. Personally, I’m partial to the Wayuu Taya Susu bags, which are so unique.
