Found: Cool Books for the Kid Who Loves to Travel

January 25, 2011 by momfarah

My six year-old doesn’t go to sleep without first reading a book, and lately he’s been poring over his Arcadia Kids books, a fun, kid-friendly series about Atlanta, Dallas, Charleston, Orlando and a couple of other famous American cities.

Each book is aptly titled Cool Stuff Every Kid Should Know, and covers everything from the  history, geography, people and interesting facts about the cities.  It’s like taking a little tour around the country without leaving your home…or plugging into a computer.

The children’s books books are about 30 pages each, so they’re easy to take along on road trips, and each page has at least one colorful picture, making them interesting even if your kid is still learning to read.

Price: $10 each
