A $108 Sweater Should Not Have Typos: We're Talking To You, Wildfox.
December 23, 2013
Wildfox, we love you. You make the comfiest sweats and tees that fulfill all our crazy unicorn rainbow dreams. So we are devastated to see spelling and grammatical errors on your clothes. Our friends at Fashionista did some digging (online shopping) and found three different items with blatant typos. We break it down for you:
The list on the New Year Baggy Beach Sweater ($108) says : “Drink less / Kiss more / Deep sea dive / Tropical vacation / Adopt a pet / Stay wierd.” But it should read: “Drink less / Kiss more / Deep sea dive / Tropical vacation / Adopt a pet / Stay weird.” Proofread, proofread, proofread!
The Message in a Bottle Tahiti Tunic ($68) includes the line “Love it here, dont look for me.” Um, pretty sure “dont” is not a word.
Last but not least, the California Baggy Beach Jumper ($108) includes the phrase “Laying on the warm sand,” which should actually be “Lying on the warm sand.” COME ON WILDFOX.
Maybe the red squiggly line is banned from computers over at the Wildfox office? We just don’t get how a brand that charges $100 + for a sweater can make mistakes like this. Maybe hiring some proofreaders should be a New Year’s resolution? WE JUST WANT TO WEAR YOUR CLOTHES.
