A Cute Character-Themed Toddler Birthday Party? It Can Be Done!

When your child falls in love with a cartoon, chances are, you are destined for a phase of gimmicky, commercial-themed clothes, toys, and of course, birthday parties. There are heaps of Elmo-inspired or Blue’s Clues-bearing invitations out there, and most of them look like they came straight off the television. And many times, the paper is cheap and flimsy, and the whole thing feels completely generic.

But if you want to honor your birthday boy or girl’s wishes, you have to do it. I recently ran across some cute cartoon character party invitations that feature popular characters, but in a tasteful way. Take a look at some of my favorites from Tiny Prints.

A Backyardigans birthday? His favorite backyard pals are the perfect way to spell party. Backyardigans invites, $18/10.

This artistic take on SpongeBob Squarepants is arguably better than the original. Spongebob invite, $18/10.

I don’t know about you, but this might be the cutest I have ever seen our little Amiga and her monkey. Dora the Explorer invite, $18/10.

You don’t even have to know these are The Wonder Pets to appreciate the cuteness of this invitation! The Wonder Pets invite, $17/10.
