A Pain-Free Way To Fix A Broken Or Torn Nail At Home

If you have weak nails then I’m sure you’ve experienced a fair share of broken or torn nails. They can be really painful, especially when the break happens far down closer to your cuticle. It’s obviously not the prettiest thing to look at but it’s also very uncomfortable and can snag on things, like clothes or a bed sheet, and completely rip off. Um, ouch. Here’s a simple way to fix a broken nail at home.

All you need is a tea bag and nail glue. Cut off a piece of the tea bag that is big enough to cover the tear. Add a small dab of glue to the torn nail and place the tea bag over it with tweezers. Once it dries, buff it out with a nail buffer or file to smooth out the surface. Finish it off with a base coat and nail polish.

That’s it! You’ll be good as new.
