Beauty Find: Bella Lucce Bali Kopi Coffee Scrub
January 9, 2008
When you find a product that actually works, you gotta rave about it. I'm raving about Bella Lucce's Bali Kopi Coffee Scrub.
Winter has done a number on my hands. Couple that with the fact that I'm a handwashing fiend, and my hands looked and felt a lot like a rhino's rear end — rough, cracked and thick-skinned, not to mention sore. But after two uses of the scrub, my hands were noticeably smoother. After three uses and they felt like velvet. I thought after my hands were bone dry, they wouldn't feel as smooth. But they did!
The scrub is a blend of organic coffee, cane sugar and moisturizers, which has an intoxicating fragrance — like walking into a Starbucks. And, yes, I tasted it. It tastes as good as it smells. In addition to caffeine's better known benefit, turns out it's a free radical scavenger and cell detoxifier. Who knew? I liked the scrub so much that I also used it on my elbows and uncomfortably dry legs.
I'm sticking with this scrub, which is saying a lot since I have "Cosmetics ADD," that is, I tend to use most products a couple of times then forget about them. Not this time. Find Bella Lucce's Bali Kopi Coffee Scrub at Chocolate Lotus.
