A Beauty Find: 'Tis the Season for Hair Miracles

What: Citre Shine Shine Miracle Thermo Defense Shine Therapy, $6.29

Why: I'm prone getting a major case of Seasonal Affective Disorder as soon as Daylight Savings Time kicks in. Skies get dark earlier, temperatures drop, and my hair and skin lose their healthy summer luster.

While I can't afford therapy for my winter-induced blues, I definitely can afford some help for my lifeless locks. Citre Shine's Shine Miracle line is like endorphins for hair: just a little spritz of this liquid-to-foam formula and my hair is shiny and happy. Microluminators, soothing, shine-enhancing citrus oils, protect my hair from all that disastrous heat styling I do in the winter.

The stuff works on wet or dry tresses and makes hair radiant and healthy looking, just like in the summer. It's always amazing what feeling pretty can do for a girl, and tossing my shiny locks in mid-November provides just the kind of pick-me-up I need.
