A Find: Handmade French Purses
May 24, 2007
Why: If you’ve ever roamed through the wandering streets of the Monmartre quartier in Paris, you’ll have no trouble relating to this unique handbag. The delicate pink pleated exterior and faux diamond buttons are beautifully feminine, while the contrasting straps are so French chic. I love the fact that it’s stylish, yet casual, and made big enough to tote everything you’ll need for an afternoon sketching a picture of the Sacré Coeur, clicking away your camera or just enjoying coffee and a Galoise at the nearest café.
Note that the Web site is in French, but also in English, and that prices are all in euros. Trust me though; taking a moment to do the conversion is worth it if you find a piece you like.
