A Week's Worth Of Fabulously Expensive Shoes: The Priciest Ballerinas At Neiman Marcus

What: Giuseppe Zanotti Buckled Ballerina Flat, $595

Why:  This week we've been talking about amazing shoes. From our glamorous gal's guide to party shoes to some of the most expensive slingbacks, boots, and pumps we could find, we've basically had nothing but footwear on the brain. But nothing seems as shocking as these ballerina flats that clock in at almost $600. Yep, that's right–six big ones for a pair of ballerinas.

Yes, they are gorgeous, with an of-the-moment leopard print and chic buckle detail, but could any simple flat be worth this much money? It makes Tory Burch's models, which have frequently been skewered as overpriced, seem downright reasonable. For our money, we'd rather have this Prada version, on sale now for $369, or the super chic Bernardo Buckle flat–a slightly different color but with the same animal magnetism and fab buckled toe for only $130.
