Aerin Lauder's New Beauty Line Is Inspired By Her Own 5-Minute Morning Routine
September 4, 2012
When you grow up dabbling in some of the world’s best cosmetics as the grand-heiress to the Estee Lauder beauty empire, it’s pretty difficult to deny that makeup runs in your blood. Aerin Lauder, a sartorial maven in her own right, has officially ventured out on her own with the launch of her Essentials beauty range and it’s well worth the wait!
Inspired by her own five-minute makeup routine (um, HOW?), Aerin was set on creating multifunctional products, including the Fresh Skin Compact Foundation — which can double for concealer — an Illuminating Powder, a Multi-Color for both lips and cheeks, Rose Lip Conditioner and Hand Cream, as well as five makeup brushes. Prices range from $28 for the lip conditioner to $148 for the brushes.
“It’s pretty instead of beautiful,” Aerin told Vogue of the subtle distinction between AERIN and Estée Lauder. “It’s easy, it’s modern, it’s confident.”
While Aerin plans to launch a limited color edition four times a year, she also revealed her fall color collection last month, which boast two large compacts (one appropriately called Weekday, the other, Weekend) as well as two lipsticks and glosses. But before autumn officially sets in, get your hands on the time-saving Limited Color Edition now!
