I wear eye makeup every day, so I’m always on the hunt for good makeup removers. I’m not a huge fan of makeup wipes; they tend to burn my eyes. And most rinse off cleansers just don’t ever fully remove my mascara. That’s what led me down the path of micellar water and how I struck gold with Alba 1913’s Galenic Cleansing Micellar Water.
For starters, I love that this formula is dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested, because after all, you’re rubbing this stuff in the eye area. It also happens to be vegan, which is pretty great, too.
When it comes to actually using this Micellar Water, it’s super easy and effective. I just squeeze a little bit onto a cotton ball and gently swipe it across my eye a few times. That’s all it takes to completely remove eyeliner, eyeshdadow and mascara, no hard rubbing or re-applying required.
What I really love about Alba 1913’s Galenic Cleansing Micellar Water, though, is how gentle it is. I accidentally got some inside my eye and it didn’t burn at all. Now I’m not saying you should purposely put this stuff in your eye, but I appreciate a makeup remover that’s this effective, but also this gentle.
Another reason this Micellar Water stands out from the pack? It’s made using a 100-year-old formula that’s designed to soothe and relieve tiredness around the eyes. So not only are you removing your makeup when you use this; you’re also showing your eyes some TLC.
If you’ve been wanting to add Micellar Water to your skincare routine, this is one of the best I’ve tried and I highly recommend it.
