No, seriously, I really need that iXL. I knew back in November that Fisher-Price iXL was going to be really popular, but I kept putting off buying it because, well, there was no good reason, I just never got around to buying one. Fast forward 2 weeks and the darn thing is sold out everywhere.
Well, that’s not entirely true. I could still buy one for my daughter on Amazon.com, but instead of paying $70, I’d have to spend $115. And frankly, that’s just not going to happen.
Is it obvious that this is my first year Christmas shopping for a kid? Fortunately, my daughter is still at that age where she’ll be just as happy to unwrap a lollipop as she would be to receive her very own “iPad,” so it won’t be a huge deal if I don’t get it. But I still have a few of my elves hunting for it in stores up and down the East Coast…
