Alright, so everyone is talking about the fact that Prince George‘s christening outfit is a break from tradition, but all we really care about is Kate Middleton’s christening outfit. The Duchess chose Alexander McQueen for the occasion, which (in case you forgot) was also the designer of her wedding gown back in 2011. Even though her all cream outfit was made to order, it’s very similar to this look from McQueen’s Spring Summer 2012 collection:

And in true royal fashion (literally), the Duchess topped off her look with a matching hat designed by Jane Taylor.  According to the designer herself, The Pearl Mini Cocktail Hat ($1,067) is “a sophisticated sinamay beret with delicate silk organza rose and classic veiling trim”. #typical

And last but not least, her shoes. Kate Middleton’s chose Russell & Bromley’s Park Ave Platform Court pumps ($315) for the christening. She must be a fan of nude pumps because they look just like her fave L.K. Bennett Sledge Round Toe Platform Pumps ($345).
