Fashion Designers Beware! Forever 21 Is Coming For Your Sold-Out Designs

In general, we tend to frown upon knock-offs here at SHEfinds. We get peeved when we see other writers stealing our work, so we get how frustrating it is for designers to see carbon copies of their merch.

But can I just say, there are some damn good knock-offs out there. I was working on a story about something totally unrelated and while doing some “research” at Forever 21 I almost broke my neck doing a double take. Are those the Isabel Marant jeans I’d been stalking all fall? And is that the Wildfox sweater basically every celeb owns? As much as I hate to give props where are they aren’t due, Forever 21 is killing it!

And if you think about it, they are actually filling a gap. I know plenty of women who’d love to own–and who would be willing to pay for–designer originals, but everything sells out so fast these days. Rather than hoping someone returns what you want in your size, is faking it really that bad?

No matter your stance on knock-offs, some of these are just incredible. I guarantee you’ll be stumped by at least one. Click through the slideshow and see if you can tell which product is the original and which is the Forever 21 knock-off.

Target also does some pretty good knock-offs–check them out here. And if you’re still looking for a deal, check out these spring must-haves under $100.
