While we can’t seem to get that silly Austin Powers quote (“She’s the village bicycle! Everybody’s had a ride.”) out of our heads when we first heard about this London-based online retailer, The Village Bicycle probably doesn’t give a crap about our chuckling response to the cheeky shop’s title. Thus is its appeal: a bad-ass cyber boutique with the coolest brands that exude the eccentricity of its hometown and beyond. Don’t believe us? Check out their Tumblr.
What makes The Village Bicycle better than your usual British e-commerce sites, like ASOS and Topshop, is that it offers London designers that you can’t always find on our side of the pond. For example, our favorite Brit boy Henry Holland and his quirky House of Holland collection, Maria Francesca Pepe‘s avant-garde jewelry, twin sisters’ Felder Felder line of femme-rocker dresses, East London’s fashion-fairy-godmother Lulu Kennedy’s capsule collection from Lulu & Co., and Kat Maconie‘s designer luxe shoes.
