Another Designer Collaboration Dream Come True: Valentino For Gap
September 9, 2010
In the same week that Lanvin for H&M was confirmed, and Prabal Gurung for Target rumors are flying, comes news that Valentino is unveiling a capsule collection for Gap. The line, which hits it November, will be available in the brand new Gap stores in Italy, as well as London and Paris – so start saving for that European vacation now (or just hit up eBay around that time).
If you can’t wait another two months, check out our top 3 picks from the new Gap fall collection:
Everyone needs a sheer black blouse in their wardrobe this fall, but why spend a fortune on one when this Gap Pintucked loop-front top ($59.50) nails the look? Wear it over a black think strap tank for a sexy, but still office-appropriate, look.
Nothing screams Italian fashion like a slinky, draped pencil skirt like this Gap Knit tulip skirt ($34.50). (After this high-end move, it’s no wonder Valentino decided to collaborate with the Gap.) Pair it with a simple white top and black sling-backs.
Pair this on-trend Ruffle shirt dress ($59.50) with black or grey knit tights and flat boots and you are good to go for fall. This deep purple is hot for fall and who doesn’t love a good shirtdress?
