I love Gap–I really do. I would say 85% of my daughter’s clothing is from babyGap and I even shop at GapKids for myself. But as I was stocking up in the sale earlier today, I came across this PJ set and thought, “Really?”
Now I get that pajamas are intended for the home, but I’m still wary of anything that calls attention to a little girl’s chest. (Case in point, this scandalous bikini.) These PJs are designed for little girls up to 5 years old and I really think the seashells over the breasts are unnecessary. They could have easily conveyed the mermaid look by placing the shells anywhere else. But right over the chest? I’m sorry, I just think it’s inapprorpiate.
What about you? Am I being too uptight or do you agree that these PJs are a little risque for a toddler girl? Share your opinion in the comments.
