60+ Gift Ideas For Everyone On Your List

Today in our Metro column we discussed how to use the internet to score some vintage pieces.

Online vintage shopping has gotten easy, but you still need to know where to go. Here are some of the best boutiques for online vintage shopping.

The cute, risqué drawings that adorn enokiworld.com add a touch of humor to vintage shopping. In a search for vintage suits, I found a number of stylish ones by eponymous designers, neatly organized by decade. The description of a 1970’s Halston is thorough, with information on the designer, specific measurements and suggestions for accessories. Ditto for the Emanuel Ungaro Schoolgirl Dress and Jacket, complete with original hangtags.

At PieceUnique.com I found a vintage Lanvin scarf circa 1970 and a Halston gown from the 60s. The photos are very clear and everything is on consignment from its owners so the site is organized by “ads.”

Fashiondig.com lets visitors search by designer and decade but I decided to go by department and look for handbags. I found a Vintage GUCCI Clutch handbag with a similar floral pattern to the recently launched spring Gucci collection and a classic Louis Vuitton speedy bag complete with with lock & key and dust cover.
