Baby Boys and Long Hair: How Long is Too Long and How Old Was Your Son for His First Hair Cut?

Zuma Rossdale Baby's First Hair Cut

If you didn’t know any better, you might mistake Zuma Rossdale for a little girl in the picture above with his gorgeous blond locks. Do you like it or think it’s time for baby’s first hair cut?

Me? I love baby boys with long hair. My son sported a long, wipsy mullet until he was about one and a half, and the only reason we cut it was because it was a nightmare to keep from getting tangled…regardless of what product we used.

And you know what? No matter how much easier it was to style his hair and keep it tangle-free after that first hair cut, there was a big part of me that wished we waited longer. And in case you’re wondering, yes I kept his first locks, although I don’t know where they’re at. But they’re somewhere in the house. I hope.

What about you? How long is too long for a baby boy and when did your son get his first hair cut?  Share in the comments below.
