Most new moms will admit they’d rather get a diaper genie than a cutesy baby gift the first time around, but what about for the second child? Even if there isn’t a shower, it’s nice to give a baby gift.
Here are some of our favorite (admittedly, somewhat frivilious) gifts for moms who already have what they need.
Baby booties are adorable but fairly decorative. Indulge the new little guy with these hand-stitched booties ($29) that have tons of “awww” factor.
Even if the first baby was pampered with special detergents in the beginning, chances are by now everything is washed in Tide with the family load. Upscale baby detergent and dryer sheets ($50) are sure to be appreciated and savored the second time around.
So the baby has some things that are hers to spit up on first, a set of cute burp cloths and bibs ($38) is always welcome. And even if mom does have lots, these are two things you can never have too many of.
It won’t be the only baby blanket in the house, but one blanket ($75) personalized just for the new baby is sure to be a special gift.
