'Bananas' Sums Up How We Feel About Rachel Zoe Canceling Her NYFW Show

In more news we thought we’d never hear: Rachel Zoe has cancelled her upcoming New York Fashion Week show. For anyone who watched The Rachel Zoe Project, you know she is a HUGE workaholic. Like, put off motherhood until she was 40 years old workaholic. With the fashion industry judging her every move as a stylist-turned-designer, we can’t believe Rach called off her Fall 2014 show next week. The designer explains her move in a statement to WWD:

While I look forward to New York Fashion Week each season, I’ve made the difficult decision to move our fall 2014 runway show from Feb. 13 in New York to a later date in Los Angeles. As a new mother, my newborn son is too young to travel with me, and I’m unable to leave him for the amount of time required to appropriately prepare for the show in New York.

Rodger must be thrilled that Rachel is finally putting on the brakes to spend time with family! Who can blame her when she has a one-month-old newborn?! Luckily, we’re still getting new Rachel Zoe designs. Her market week in New York is still a go and she will be back on the Fashion Week calendar this September…unless baby number three is on the way! You know she’s “dying” for a girl.
