Be on the lookout for: Betsey Johnson sponges

Our favorite clothing designers are becoming domesticated. Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren and DKNY all have home lines and we love them. But how many of these designers are collaborating with companies that manufacture sponges? Betsey Johnson, known for her whimsical, colorful clothing collections, has partnered with O-Cel-O home cleaning products to design a chic line of kitchen sponges. Johnsons sponge patterns are straight off the runway of her Fall Fashion Week 2005 show – theres one with pink roses, another with leopard print and a third with pink polka dots and an aquamarine background. Visit O-Cel-O‘s website to vote for the Betsey Johnson pattern you’d like to see on a sponge; voting runs through October 31 and the wining pattern will be available for a limited time in Spring 2006.

One of Betsey Johnson’s sponge patterns. Vote for your favorite on the O-Cel-O website.
