Beauty Smackdown: Did Ciate Just Rip Off Rad Nails' Cuticle Tattoos?

January 24, 2014 by Jenn Rice

We just learned that Ciate, one of our favorite Brit polish brands, is launching cuticle tattoos. And while they’re super cool and all, we discovered this trend last summer via Rad Nails. We’re actually kind of surprised, as Ciate is usually ahead of the curve when it comes to innovative new nail art. And if you’re behind on your nail news, cuticle tattoos transfer onto your skin just as regular faux tattoos do. Pick your favorite design, soak the paper in water and place the sticky side down on the edge of your nail bed. It’s an easy way to dress up any plain old manicure. Nail art might be dead, but cuticle tattoos don’t seem to be. These have just made their way into the UK, so stay tuned for a U.S. launch date.
