What: Davines Alchemic Collection
Why: The only thing that upsets me more than having two inches of roots is when my brand new (expensive) set of highlights looks brassy and dull within a week. I walk out of the salon with perfectly coiffed Gwenyth blonde, but within days look more like Tara Reid after an especially rough night in Taradise. And unlike those fabled “Bergdorf Blondes,†I have neither the time, money, nor inclination to get my hair touched up every week.
Blondes, or those of us aspiring to be blondes, have it especially rough, but all shades of colored hair are sapped of luster due to washing, sun, and every other environmental stressor our poor locks are subjected to on a daily basis. Davines Alchemic Collection is designed to protect and maintain the vibrancy of our artificially colored locks, and is available in Golden, Copper, Red, Chocolate, Silver and Tobacco. The shampoos are gentle, yet cleansing, made with milk proteins, vegetable extracts, Vitamins A & B and olive oil derivatives, along with UV filters to protect hair from the dulling rays of the sun. The conditioner is made with Vitamin E and pigment enhancers, and leaves hair feeling moisturized and looking bright.
Davines Alchemic Collection leaves your color looking nice and bright, and comes in the cutest packaging I’ve ever seen – the exact opposite of Tara Reid after an especially rough night.
