When the weather gets nice, is there anything better than here’s nothing better than lounging on your balcony or in a hammock with a good book? If you’ve ever gotten lost in a compelling mystery or love story, then you know books have the power to transport. But given how bust everyone is these days, it can sometimes feel selfish or hard to justify setting aside precious hours in the day to read. That’s what makes the self-help category a no-brainer. Not only do you get the time to relax and do something you enjoy, but you are also getting something out of it. Win win!

Need a few good reads to add to your library this summer? These four best inspiring self-help books should be at the top of your reading list:

You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero. We all have the bad habit of self-sabotaging our ideas and visions, but by the end of this book, you’ll be able to create the life you want and love.

Anxious for Nothing: Finding Calm in a Chaotic World by Max Lucado. Whether it be work, relationships or finances, everyone deals with the daily stressors of life. Use the tips in this book to stop stress and constant worrying from dominating your life.

– Designing Your Life: How to Build a Well-Lived, Joyful Life by Bill Burnett, Dave Evans. A major factor in living the life you want is how you think. This book will walk you through the process of creating a meaningful and fulfilling life by examining and guiding your thoughts.

– The Self-Love Experiment: Fifteen Principles for Becoming More Kind, Compassionate, and Accepting of Yourself by Shannon Kaiser. Accepting and loving yourself for who you are will allow you to achieve the dreams you want. This book will help you get there.
