Whether you’re taking a road trip or flying to your destination, making poor eating decisions is such an easy thing to do when you’re traveling. It’s just so convenient to grab a bag of chips or a candy bar to satisfy you until your next meal. But as you probably know, these types of snacks have little to no nutritional value compared to other foods. Luckily, there are convenient and healthy snacks that you can take with you on your next trip, totally guilt-free.

Single serve mixed nuts. This protein-packed snack will definitely help to keep you full while traveling. Look for a pre-portioned option so you don’t have to worry about serving sizes.

Protein bars. Swap out a candy bar for a protein bar. You can still get the same sweetness, but with way better ingredients.

Roasted edamame snack packs. Satisfy your desire for salt and crunch with this heart-healthy potato chip alternative.

Peanut butter packets. Have one of these with a piece of fresh fruit or if you’re a peanut butter fanatic, just eat it with a spoon.
