Even though it feels like we’ve been waiting months and months for summer, we now want it to just be fall already. Why? Well, Target just announced its next designer collaboration and it’s with none other than Altuzarra! The limited-edition nearly 50 piece collection of women’s clothes, lingerie, accessories and shoes is set to hit Target stores and online September 14th, with a selection of items also available on Net-A-Porter.
Altuzarra isn’t as big a name as past Target collaborators, like Phillip Lim and Missoni, but the designs are equally as good. The luxury brand is known for it’s feminine and sophisticated styles and can count Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Bosworth, Cameron Diaz and Cate Blanchett as fans.
Head designer and creative director Joseph Altuzarra explains his decision to team up with the mass retailer: “As a designer, I believe firmly in the transformative power of fashion. It has the ability to not only change how you look, but also how you feel. I’ve admired the elegance that Target brings to fast fashion. By working together on this capsule collection, we hope to instill a sense of power, confidence and beauty in women everywhere.”
So far, there’s just this one sketch of a gorgeous, what looks to be chiffon, maxi dress. We know the collection features a mix of iconic Altuzarra silhouettes with designs created specifically for Target. Prices range from $17.99 to $89.99 for clothing and lingerie, and $29.99 to $79.99 for shoes and accessories.
