New Salon Is Open ONLY To Plus Size Girls

Full-figured gals are officially dominating the fashion and beauty world these days. A couple of days ago, Bridesmaids’ Melissa McCarthey made moves to launch plus-size clothing line, and just last week The Limited announced their first venture into the full-figured market.

Now, hairstylist Trim Bashar Brown, 31, opened a new plus-size-only hair salon “after learning overweight clients felt discriminated against in salons full of slim women,” according to the Daily Mail. Apparently, Brown felt that normal salons were discriminatory of overweight customers because of their “one size fits most”  seats, sinks, and gowns. Additionally, Brown wanted to provide a location where women weren’t subject to the “appraising looks” of slimmer clientele.
