Buh Bye: Gap to close some stores, focus on Old Navy brand

Better get your SJP jeans now because The Gap may be harder to get to.

“The Gap plans to close 135 unprofitable Gap stores this year and open as many as 175 new Old Navy and outlet stores instead. The company says the changes will save rent and real estate expenses. American City Business Journals/St. Louis

Thankfully Gap.com remains intact.
