When people think of shopping Fifth Avenue, they often think of the luxury stores around Rockefeller Plaza. Fifth Avenue runs practically the length of New York City, and the shopping around the Flatiron District — near attractions such as Madison Square Park and Eataly, should not be overlooked.
You can make a whole day out of it by stopping for coffee at 71 Irving, checking out home goods stores such as Fishes Eddy and then wrapping it all up with some hot cider. It’s a slice of authentic New York with different shops and street vendors, all at a variety of price points. Easily something for everyone, which is great when one doesn’t have a lot of time for holiday shopping.
Macy’s sits at the top of this area, which is one of the best places to buy watches. One of our editors’ favorite finds were Baby G watches. Tough, cute and cool, they have a shock resistant and water resistant structure and are built for active use. Check out the black one and the white one.
Our SHEfinds editors Justine and Eileen went around New York City’s Flatiron district and found some great deals. Click through the slideshow to check them out.
