We always knew there was something a little sinister about Gwyneth Paltrow. C’mon, as far as icy blondes go, can you think of anyone less approachable? Anyway, according to Page Six, the proof might be in her choice of beauty products.
Gwyneth Paltrow uses snake venom as part of her beauty regimen.
According to the insider report, Gwyneth was recently seen shopping at the famed Sonya Dakar clinic and her choices included a cream from Dakar’s UltraLuxe-9 line, which includes “the spit of a snake.” Evidently, the products are a follow-up to Dakar's UltraLuxe facial, an anti-aging treatment that’s sweeping Hollywood.
If you want a little anti-aging action of your own and want something more gentle than Botox, then Dakar’s UltraLuxe-9 Age Control Complex might be your solution. Evidently, in small quantities, the venom performs the way it normally does in the case of an actual snake bite and restricts muscular contraction. Obviously, it’s not enough to paralyze or kill you, but if you’re looking for a bit of relief from fine lines, who knows? Maybe the solution for the lines that are eating you is to bite back, just not as hard. The cream is not cheap, but for $185, it’s less than a series of Botox treatments and better yet, no needles.
Is the promise of no needles enough to tempt us all away from the Botox Garden of Eden? Let us know what you think in our comments section.
