Celebrity News: Paris Expands Her Market with a Line of Shoes

There's no question about it: what Paris Hilton lacks in common sense, fashion sense, and well, just about any sense at all, she can make up for it in shoes. Rumor has it, her collection benchmarked 1000 pairs last year. Whether or not her affection towards Louboutins, Manolos and everything in between has any effect on her next venture, only the future can tell.

For Spring '08, keep your eyes peeled for the next Hilton experiment in being a productive member of society. Yes, she's now launching a signature line of shoes after partnering with Antebi Footwear Group. Add that to her perfume collection, hair extensions, watches, handbags, clothing line for Kitson, denim line for Macy's, not to mention her CD, and you can be just like Paris from head to toe.

The line is expected to include stilettos, flats, platforms, wedges and even some casual styles like sneakers and flip-flops. If the line turns out quite as good as that of Jessica Simpson (yes, we do have a soft spot for her shoes), then we'll finally be able to say that the heiress has actually made a positive contribution to society. Now that's hot.
